Acitretin tablets (commonly known by brand names like Soriatane) are oral retinoids used primarily to treat severe, resistant plaque psoriasis and pustular psoriasis. By reducing skin cell overgrowth and thickening, it is also used for severe keratinization disorders, including ichthyosis, Darier’s disease, and lichen planus.
